Glamping and Short Breaks in Norfolk, UK: Your Base for North Norfolk

At mYminiBreak, we've built four sites in four completely different corners of Norfolk, UK — because no single postcode covers everything this county has to offer.

There's the coast at Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea. There's the ancient forest at Thetford. There's the woodland lake at Holt, 12 miles from the sea and 30 minutes from everything worth doing on the North Norfolk coast. Between them, they give you access to everything: the seal colonies, the birdwatching reserves, the Royal estates, the folk festivals, the chalk cliffs, the steam railways and some of the most extraordinary wildlife spectacles in England.

We are 100% dog-friendly across every property, every pitch, every site.

Your Accommodation Options in Norfolk

Holiday Cottages Near Hunstanton

The Old Barn and The Dairy are two holiday cottages near Hunstanton, on the West Norfolk coast — private, self-catering and positioned for walking access onto the King Charles III England Coast Path. Both sit on what was originally the Ken Hill Estate's farmland. Guests look out directly across Wild Ken Hill, the celebrated rewilding project where BBC Springwatch films each summer.

Dog-friendly. Year-round.

Short Stays at Hunstanton (B&B, Self-Catering, Shepherd Huts and Stables Chalets)

For shorter visits, the Hunstanton site offers B&B rooms, self-catering rooms, shepherd huts and The Stables chalets — a range of accommodation for everything from a single night to a longer week's stay near the beach. Seal boat trips, RSPB Snettisham, Sandringham Estate and the Heacham lavender fields are all within easy reach. Browse Hunstanton glamping options or check campsite availability.

Woodland Glamping Near Holt

Twelve miles from the North Norfolk coast, the Holt woodland site offers shepherd huts, a yurt and glamping pitches beside a lake in mature mixed woodland. From here you can take the North Norfolk Railway steam train to Sheringham, walk to Blakeney for seal trips, visit Cley Marshes for world-class birdwatching, or simply sit by the lake and let the day pass at its own pace.

Dogs welcome. Quiet. Properly away from it all.

Campsites at Hunstanton, Holme-next-the-Sea, Holt and Thetford

Four campsites across Norfolk, UK:

  • Hunstanton — coast, sunsets, West Norfolk
  • Holme-next-the-Sea — where the Peddars Way meets the sea, directly on the Norfolk Coast Path, year-round dog beach
  • Holt (lakeside) — woodland and water, 12 miles from the coast
  • Thetford (woodland/forest) — 40 acres in the Breckland, mountain biking, Go Ape and the Forest Live concert series on the doorstep

All four campsites welcome dogs, campervans and motorhomes.

Why mYminiBreak?

We are not just accommodation. The experience is the point — the seals at Blakeney Point, the knot murmurations at RSPB Snettisham, the Heritage Live concerts at Sandringham, the steam train to Sheringham, the sunrise over the Brecks, the walk along the chalk cliffs at low tide. We are the base. Norfolk provides the rest.

Every property is 100% dog-friendly. Not most of them. All of them.

Four sites, one county. If you want the forest for one night and the coast for the next, book both. The sites are designed to be used together as a Norfolk itinerary, not in isolation.
