Norfolk, UK rewards every kind of visitor differently — birdwatchers, walkers, cyclists, dog owners, history lovers, and families all find something here that they cannot find quite the same way anywhere else in England. mYminiBreak’s four sites across the county — Hunstanton, Holme-next-the-Sea, Holt, and Thetford — are your base for all of it.
Norfolk sits at the edge of England and rewards every kind of visitor differently. Birdwatchers come for Snettisham and Titchwell. Cyclists ride the Rebellion Way. Walkers complete the Peddars Way. Families spend a week on the coast and run out of things they haven’t done. Dog owners discover that nearly every beach, every pub, and every trail here is built for dogs.
mYminiBreak operates four sites across the county — Hunstanton, Holme-next-the-Sea, Holt, and Thetford. We are not just accommodation. We are your base for Norfolk.
This is the starting point for everything we have written about the county. Ten subject areas. All built around one idea: there is always more to do here than you expected.
1. Wildlife and Birdwatching in Norfolk
Norfolk is one of the top three birdwatching destinations in the UK. RSPB Snettisham and RSPB Titchwell Marsh sit either side of our North Norfolk sites. Wild Ken Hill — one of England’s most ambitious rewilding projects — is a walk from our Hunstanton site. The knot murmurations at Snettisham in autumn are one of the great wildlife spectacles in the world.

2. Walking in Norfolk
The Peddars Way — a 46-mile Roman road turned National Trail — starts near our Thetford site and finishes at the coast beside our Holme site. The Norfolk Coast Path runs east from there toward Wells and Blakeney. Village walks, forest trails, cliff-top routes, and salt marsh paths all sit within reach of our four sites.
3. Cycling in Norfolk
The Rebellion Way is a 232-mile circular cycling route around Norfolk — two of our sites sit directly on it. The Norfolk Coast Cycleway runs along the North Norfolk coast. Thetford Forest offers dedicated mountain biking trails at High Lodge. Norfolk is flat, scenic, and remarkably well set up for cyclists.
4. Dog-Friendly Norfolk
All four mYminiBreak sites welcome dogs unconditionally — no breed restrictions, no size limits. The North Norfolk coast has some of the finest dog beaches in England. Our guests’ dogs have run on Holme beach, swum at Old Hunstanton, chased rabbits in Thetford Forest, and slept beside fire pits at every one of our sites. Norfolk is genuinely one of the best counties in England to bring a dog.

Every one of our sites is within ten minutes of a pub we recommend without hesitation.
