North Norfolk, UK live music near mYminiBreak: free Music on the Green / Hunstanton Music Festival on The Green, free Sunday bandstand concerts on The Green, Brancaster Staithe Sea Shanty Festival (11-13 September 2026, Deepdale venues), Fox and Hounds Heacham pub gigs, and twice-weekly live sets at Hunstanton Ski Café. This is the live music pillar under Activities in Norfolk. It is only about music: stages, bandstands, shanty crews, pub bands and café sets. Country fairs, flower shows and non-music festivals live on other hubs. If it does not make a sound, it does not belong here.
Guests stay with us so the night out ends on a short drive, not a long one. Three open bases: Hunstanton / Heacham on the West Norfolk coast, Holme-next-the-Sea on the Peddars Way, and Holt woodland inland. Only Hunstanton / Heacham, Holme-next-the-Sea and Holt woodland.

The Green, the bandstand, the pub corner and the shanty barn. Music first. Bed nearby.

11-13 September 2026. Maritime shanty weekend across five venues: The Jolly Sailors, The White Horse, Brancaster Staithe Village Hall, St Mary’s Church Burnham Deepdale, and the barn at Deepdale Camping & Rooms. Charity weekend. Soulful crew singing, not a silent disco.
Official site: brancasterstaithe-shantyfest.co.uk. Deepdale lists the weekend for guests on their coast stretch. We are not Deepdale. We are the neighbouring base at Holme and Hunstanton when you want our pitches, huts or cottages and still drive the coast road for the shanties.
- Closest mYminiBreak: Holme-next-the-Sea and Hunstanton / Heacham
- Year-round shanty culture: Nelson’s Shantymen at The Jolly Sailors, Brancaster Staithe, Mondays from 7pm when listed on jollysailorsbrancaster.co.uk

Fox and Hounds Heacham. The local pub gig when guests want live music without leaving the Heacham stretch.
Fox and Hounds is the Heacham pub we point guests at for a proper band night. Live music is part of the house culture, often Friday when the board is full. We do not invent a fixed weekly grid. Check foxandhoundsheacham.co.uk and their Facebook page for the night’s bill.
- Short drive or walk from Heacham cottages, huts and Hunstanton pitches
- Dogs: often welcome in the bar under normal pub sense. Ask which room
- Pairs with a Music on the Green afternoon and a pub set in the evening

They post the next set on the homepage “Our Next Live Event” board (example listed: charity afternoon sets). Site: hunstantonskicafe.co.uk · events: upcoming events.

6. Estate and outdoor music (when tickets are real)

Estate lawns still host outdoor music in some years. Only travel when the promoter page says the show is on.
Heritage Live at Sandringham for summer 2026 was cancelled by the promoter. Do not travel on old Lionel Richie or Eric Clapton posters. Statement and refund path: heritagelive.net. If a future Sandringham outdoor music season returns, this section will say so. Until then, Sandringham is not a live music booking reason on this hub.
Other outdoor music that still sits near our bases when listed:
