Every November the Round Table lights up the cliffs at Hunstanton, and 2026 marks the 50th anniversary. A massive bonfire, funfair, hot food, a low-bang show for sensitive ears, and a huge firework and laser spectacular with half the county standing together on the cliff. It is one of the best nights of the year on this coast. I also know exactly what happens at 8:30 pm when everyone tries to drive home at once.
Stay over, make it a miniBreak
A day trip looks simple on paper. You drive in, find parking, watch the display, and spend the next hour sitting in a long line of cars inching off the cliff road. Then follows a dark, tiring drive home across Norfolk with sleepy people in the back.
Bringing your van turns that round completely. Arrive in the afternoon, get your pitch set up while it is still light, and put the kettle on. Head over to the clifftop when you are ready. When the finale ends and the car park gridlock begins, you walk back to your own warm van, light the stove, and settle in for the night. Sunday morning is quiet. Take a slow walk along the beach, have a proper breakfast, and head home whenever the roads are clear.
Your campervan, motorhome or caravan base at Hunstanton
Our Hunstanton Beach Farm site takes campervans, motorhomes, and caravans. It is a back-to-basics coastal campsite, west-facing toward The Wash, and just a short hop from the beach. You can pull in during the afternoon, plug in, and get everything cozy before dark.
One house rule I will be completely straight about: our campsite has a strict no fireworks and no sky lanterns rule. The clifftop show is where the fireworks belong. Back on the field, the atmosphere stays calm and quiet for everyone, including the horses, cattle, and local wildlife next door.
Hunstanton Beach Farm Pitch
Direct pitch booking for your campervan, motorhome, or caravan. West-facing coastal site, 3-minute walk to the beach. Electric hook-up available.
Coastal Camping Stay Voucher
Flexible stay voucher from shop.myminibreak.com. Valid for campervans, motorhomes, and caravans. Recipient chooses dates after purchase.
Book your pitch for fireworks weekend
Pitches at Hunstanton fill up well in advance for clifftop fireworks night. Secure your spot early and relax.
No dogs on the event field
The Round Table does not allow any pets on the event field. Fireworks are difficult for dogs anyway, with loud bangs and flashing lights echoing off the water, so leaving them behind is the kindest choice. Dogs are welcome at our campsite. You can settle your dog in the van with their bed, a good chew, the radio on low, and comfortable surroundings while you head up to the display.
Tickets and running order for 2026
Event tickets are sold directly by the organisers, not by us. Hunstanton & District Round Table is a group of local volunteers, and every single penny raised goes straight back into supporting West Norfolk charities and community causes.
For the 50th anniversary in 2026, the running order on Saturday 7 November is:
- 4:00 pm: Gates open, funfair, hot food and stalls operating
- 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm: Traditional bonfire lit
- 5:45 pm: New Low-Bang display (designed for young children and sensitive ears)
- 7:45 pm: Main 50th Anniversary Firework & Laser Spectacular
Car tickets allow entry for up to 6 people. Walk-in tickets are also sold on the gate. If buying at the gate, take cash, because mobile reception on the clifftop can be patchy when thousands of people gather.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Hunstanton Cliff Top Fireworks busy?
Yes. It is one of West Norfolk’s biggest annual community nights, drawing thousands of visitors to the clifftops. With the 50th anniversary celebrations, bonfire, funfair, and laser show, expect busy gates and a slow exit from the cliff car park at the end. Staying over on a campsite pitch lets you avoid the traffic rush completely.
Where do I park for the Hunstanton fireworks?
The event is held at the Cliff Top car park, PE36 6EL. Car parking tickets include admission for up to 6 occupants. If you are staying with us at Hunstanton Beach Farm, you can leave your campervan or motorhome settled on your pitch and walk or cycle toward the clifftop, keeping your vehicle out of the post-display queue.
How do I buy tickets for the Hunstanton fireworks?
Advance tickets are available online through the official Ticket Tailor event page. Tickets are non-refundable. Walk-in tickets are also sold at the gate on the night, though cash is strongly recommended as card machines frequently struggle with poor mobile signal on the cliff.
Where can I stay for the fireworks in a campervan or motorhome?
mYminiBreak’s Hunstanton campsite accommodates campervans, motorhomes, and touring caravans. It offers peaceful coastal pitches just minutes from the beach and clifftop. Fireworks weekend is one of the most popular autumn dates, so early booking is recommended.
Can I bring my dog to the Hunstanton fireworks?
No. The organisers strictly forbid all pets on the event field for safety reasons. Dogs are welcome at our Hunstanton campsite, so your dog can stay safe, calm, and comfortable in your vehicle while you attend the display.
