1. Yurt in Holt woodland
If you want the stay that photographs and feels most like a proper escape, start here. The yurt sits in private woodland near Holt, on the edge of Holt Country Park, about twelve miles inland from Cromer and Sheringham. Lakeside clearing, birdsong, wood-burning stove when the evening drops.
From the pitch you can walk into Holt town through the Country Park on confirmed public access (around fifteen minutes). Keep going on Restricted Byway 12 and you reach free English Heritage ruins at Baconsthorpe Castle. Pitch to castle without a car is rare in this part of Norfolk.

Coastal huts near Hunstanton
Open skies, sunsets over the Wash, King Charles III England Coast Path from the property. Walk south toward RSPB Snettisham for autumn and winter wader spectacles (always check official tide and parking guidance before you go). Walk north toward Holme Dunes. Back-to-basics means shared wash blocks when busy, honest site rules, and wild flowers left alone. If you want entertainment blocks and a pool, choose a different postcode. If you want quiet nights and a door that opens onto real Norfolk, you are in the right place.

4. Coastal cottages, The Old Barn and The Dairy
Two self-catering holiday cottages near Heacham on the North Norfolk Coast. About a 3-minute walk to the beach, roughly 16 minutes to the village, Coast Path access, free parking for one car (extra car bookable). Dog-friendly. Fresh linen and towels. WiFi. Arrival 3pm–8pm; self check-in after 8pm.

Dogs, honestly
Every stay type on this page is dog-friendly. Dogs sleep with you in the yurt, huts, cottages, rooms and chalets. On campsites they stay with you on the pitch under normal camping sense. Cottage bookings can add a dog at checkout.
Hunstanton main beach has seasonal dog restrictions (roughly April–October). Old Hunstanton and Holme are the year-round dog beaches we send guests to. Always read the signs on the day.
