This is a true collaboration arrangement. Anything else (cash day rates for posts) is simply payment for digital material. The thank you stay is our skin in the game: full occupancy on a 100% paid coupon so you can evaluate the product. It does not stack with the 15% guest discount and is not a commissionable sale.

3. Thank you stay

Permission to run ads on your Reel or post about the stay is part of the deal.
What We Expect From You
The weekday thank you stay is a courtesy free evaluation of our product range. You stay in the real unit (yurt, hut, cottage, chalet, B&B, pitch or other agreed product), experience it as a guest would, and produce material that shows what that product is actually like. In return we host or share that material on our channels and site, subject to the platform and the product you stayed in.
This is not a free holiday with no deliverables. Acceptance means you agree to the expectations below before the stay is confirmed.
Minimum content you must produce
From the thank you stay, and within 14 days of checkout unless we agree another date in writing:
- 1× Instagram Reel (or equivalent short vertical video on your key platform if Instagram is not your main channel)
- 1× TikTok (same stay story, or a second cut of the Reel if that is how you work)
- 3× Instagram Stories (or Stories on your key platform) during or just after the stay
- A stills pack we can reuse: at least 8 high-resolution photos of the product, setting, and guest experience (exterior, interior, detail, lifestyle). No heavy filters that hide the real place.
- Honest caption copy in your voice. No scripts from us. Facts about the product and North Norfolk, UK must be accurate.
- Your Collabs code named clearly so guests know how to get 15% off on shop.myminibreak.com
- Meta Partnership Ad / branded content permission granted to the mYminiBreak Facebook Page on the stay Reel and any agreed feed posts before or at the moment of publish
If your key platform is YouTube, swap one short for a Short or a clear stay segment in a longer video, plus the stills pack and Stories-equivalent. Same commercial outcome: usable material + shop code + ad permission where the platform allows it.
What “produce material” means
- Content must be about the product you stayed in (for example Holt woodland yurt, Hunstanton hut, Old Barn, Dairy, Stables, B&B, camping or campervan pitch), not a generic Norfolk travel montage that never shows the stay.
- Show the real place: arrival, inside the unit, outside deck or pitch, dog if relevant, local walk or base-for-the-day moment if it fits your niche.
- Sound on video. Silent B-roll alone does not meet the Reel/TikTok bar.
- Tag @myminibreaknorfolkcoast (Instagram) and the matching mYminiBreak handle on other platforms where you post.
- Disclose the gifted stay where UK rules require it (for example #ad or clear gifted-stay wording).
How we host or share your material
By accepting the thank you stay and Collabs deal, you grant mYminiBreak a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the stay content you produce (video, stills, captions as published) for our marketing, including:
- Our social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, Pinterest and any channel we add later), including reshare, duet-style reuse, and Stories
- Our websites myminibreak.com and norfolkcoast-cottage.co.uk (product pages, Opportunities, guides, landing pages)
- shop.myminibreak.com and related Shopify assets where a creator still or clip supports the voucher you promote
- Email, WhatsApp/SMS, print and on-site screens when we need a real guest/creator story
- Paid amplification of your stay content as Meta Partnership Ads (and equivalent on other platforms when permission exists), once you have granted the required brand partnership permission
We credit you where the format allows (handle on social, name/handle on site modules). We will not sell your raw files as a stock pack to third parties. You keep ownership of your original files; we keep the right to use the agreed stay material in the ways above without a further fee.
Delivery: within 14 days of checkout, send us the public post links and a download link (Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or similar) to the stills pack and, where practical, the master video files, to promotions@norfolkcoast-cottage.co.uk.

Match the story to the product you evaluated. Do not imply a luxury hotel standard we do not sell. Do not invent facilities. If something is shared bathrooms, off-grid, or back-to-basics, say so honestly.
What the courtesy stay is for
- Evaluate the real product range item you are assigned (not a photoshoot set we dress for Instagram only).
- Produce the minimum content pack above so guests and our channels can see a real stay.
- Launch your Collabs code against the Shopify products your audience will actually buy.
- Allow us to host and share that material on site and social, and to run Partnership Ads on the stay content you publish.
If you fail to supply the minimum deliverables (or Partnership Ad permission) without a written exception from us, the full retail cost of the product / stay you occupied falls due as set out in the Terms and Conditions below. We may also pause your Collabs code and will not book further courtesy stays.
Terms and Conditions (Creator Collabs & Courtesy Stay)
These terms apply to every creator who applies for, accepts, or takes up a mYminiBreak Shopify Collabs deal and/or a courtesy thank you stay (the weekday product evaluation). By applying, accepting a code, confirming a stay date, or checking in, you agree to these terms. English law applies. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Parties: “We”, “us”, “mYminiBreak” means the mYminiBreak / Norfolk Coastal Breaks trading operation (promotions contact: promotions@norfolkcoast-cottage.co.uk). “You” means the creator / influencer (and any guest you bring under the booking).
1. Nature of the stay
- The weekday occupancy on a 100% paid coupon is a courtesy free evaluation of a named product in our range. It is not an unconditional free holiday.
- In exchange you must produce the minimum material in What We Expect From You, grant Meta Partnership Ad / branded content permission where required, and promote shop.myminibreak.com with your Collabs code on honest terms.
- Stays are Monday to Friday only unless we agree weekends in writing. Length: normally 2 days (5,000-10,000 key-platform followers) or 3 days (more than 10,000), subject to fit and availability.
- The coupon does not stack with the 15% guest discount and is not a commissionable sale.
2. Minimum deliverables (the “Deliverables”)
Unless we vary this in writing before or during the stay, Deliverables are:
- 1× Instagram Reel (or equivalent short on your key platform if Instagram is not primary)
- 1× TikTok
- 3× Stories on Instagram or your key platform
- At least 8 high-resolution stills suitable for our reuse (exterior, interior, detail, lifestyle)
- Honest captions; accurate product and North Norfolk, UK facts; your Collabs code stated clearly
- Meta Partnership Ad / branded content permission for the mYminiBreak Facebook Page on the stay Reel and agreed feed posts
- Public post links and a download link to stills (and master video files where practical) sent to promotions@norfolkcoast-cottage.co.uk
Deadline: all Deliverables completed and notified to us within 14 days of checkout, unless a later date is agreed by us in writing before that deadline.
3. Licence to host and share
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use the stay content you produce (video, stills, published captions) on our social channels, websites (including myminibreak.com and norfolkcoast-cottage.co.uk), shop.myminibreak.com, email and print, and as paid Partnership Ads once permission is granted, with credit where the format allows. You keep ownership of your original files. We will not sell your raw files as third-party stock.
4. Failure to supply Deliverables, product cost falls due
If you fail to supply the Deliverables in full by the deadline (including missing Partnership Ad permission where required), or if you supply content that is not about the product you stayed in, is silent video only where sound was required, is so inaccurate we cannot use it, or is deleted / made private so we lose the public post and Partnership path, then without further gift or discount the full retail cost of the product and occupancy you received becomes immediately due and payable by you.
- Amount: the full advertised retail value of the stay / product package for the nights and unit you occupied (and any agreed extras we provided free as part of the evaluation), as if booked by a paying guest at the then-current public rate for those dates. We will state the figure in your stay confirmation email where practical; if not stated in advance, we will invoice the rate that applied for those dates on norfolkcoast-cottage.co.uk / shop equivalent.
- Invoice: we may email an invoice to the address you used for Collabs / the stay. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
- Partial failure: if only part of the Deliverables is missing, we may still treat the stay as failed evaluation and charge the full product cost, or at our sole discretion accept a cure period (extra days to finish) or a reduced charge. Any reduction is goodwill only and must be confirmed in writing.
- No-show / early leave without content: same rule: full product cost falls due if Deliverables are not completed.
- Collabs code: we may suspend or cancel your discount code and commission eligibility until Deliverables are complete or the invoice is paid.
- Chargeback / dispute: taking the stay while agreeing these terms is acceptance that the courtesy rate was conditional on Deliverables. Failure to deliver converts the booking to a standard paid stay at full retail.
Written exceptions (illness, platform outage, bereavement, our operational fault) must be agreed by us by email. Silence after the deadline is not an exception.
5. Conduct on site
- You and your guests must follow site rules, dog rules, fire and quiet hours, and health & safety instructions.
- Damage, extra cleaning, or lost keys are charged at our normal guest rates on top of any Deliverables invoice.
- No sub-letting, parties, or commercial filming beyond the agreed creator evaluation without written consent.
6. Shopify Collabs commercial terms
- Guest discount: 15% off advertised shop.myminibreak.com prices via your unique code (as configured in Collabs).
- Your commission: 10% on sales attributed to your code through Shopify Collabs, subject to Collabs and Shopify payout rules.
- Manual approval only. We may refuse or end a Collabs relationship for brand safety, fake engagement, off-niche audience, or breach of these terms.
- You must not misrepresent prices, availability, or facilities.
7. Disclosure and brand safety
- You must comply with UK advertising rules (including clear #ad / gifted-stay disclosure where required).
- No hate speech, illegal content, or content that seriously damages the mYminiBreak name.
- Thetford and Forest Live are not part of our offer; do not promote closed sites.
8. Cancellation
- By you more than 7 days before arrival: no product charge if no stay is taken; Collabs code may still be offered without a stay at our option.
- By you within 7 days of arrival, or no-show: we may charge a cancellation fee up to the full retail value of the reserved dates, and/or require Deliverables if any stay was partially taken.
- By us for operational reasons: we will offer alternative dates where we can; no Deliverables debt if you never stayed.
9. Acceptance
Application email, Collabs acceptance, stay confirmation, or check-in each count as acceptance of these Terms and of What We Expect From You. If you do not agree, do not take the stay.

Audience fit means followers care about: dog-friendly travel, glamping, camping, campervan or motorhome, wildlife and birding, coastal short breaks, UK staycations, cottages and chalets, quiet outdoor family time.
Pure fashion, pure gym, or unrelated city lifestyle accounts are declined even if large. Fit sells shop vouchers. Vanity numbers do not.

- We review key-platform followers and audience fit.

The weekday kickoff stay is funded by us (retail value around £300) so you can evaluate the product; that stay itself is not a commissionable sale.
How does the 1% example work?
If 1% of your key-platform followers buy once with your code, sales = followers × 0.01. Commission ≈ sales × £30. Example: 10,000 followers → 100 sales → about £3,000 commission, on top of the ~£300 stay we already funded. Real results vary; the rate is always 10% of the order, not a fixed £30.
Do you pay cash day rates for posts?
No. Cash day rates are payment for digital material. We run true collaborations: we fund the weekday stay (~£300), you earn 10% ongoing on Shopify sales with your code (~£30 on a typical voucher), guests get 15% off, and we both care whether the product sells. If you only work on fixed fees for content, we are not the right brand for that lane.
Do I need 5,000 followers on every platform?
No. We count your key platform only. After acceptance you can promote on other platforms to grow reach.
Is the thank you stay free at weekends?
Thank you stays use a 100% paid occupancy coupon and run Monday to Friday only unless agreed in writing. 2 days for 5,000-10,000 key-platform followers; 3 days for more than 10,000, subject to audience fit. That stay is our thank you for endorsing the product.
Do you auto-approve applications?
No. Manual review only: key-platform followers plus relevance to dogs, glamping, camping, campervans, wildlife, coastal short breaks and similar Norfolk, UK stay intent. Apply via How To Apply.
What content do you expect?
See What We Expect From You on this page. Can you use my photos and video on your website?
Yes, under the non-exclusive licence in What We Expect From You: social, myminibreak.com, norfolkcoast-cottage.co.uk, Shopify where relevant, email and paid Partnership Ads on the stay content, with credit where the format allows. You keep ownership of your originals.
What if I don’t deliver the content?
If you do not supply the agreed Deliverables by the deadline (see Terms and Conditions), the stay stops being a courtesy evaluation and the full retail cost of the product / occupancy you used falls due. We invoice; payment is due in 14 days. We may also pause your Collabs code. Written exceptions only.
