From Holme-next-the-Sea, the Norfolk Coast Path heads east for 84 miles — one of England’s most spectacular stretches of coastal walking. The path passes through Thornham, Titchwell RSPB Marsh (where marsh harriers and avocets are near-certain sightings), Brancaster, Burnham Overy Staithe, Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea before reaching Cromer.

High Lodge Thetford Forest is the dedicated mountain biking centre for the forest, managed by Forestry England. The trail network covers green (family), blue (moderate) and red (challenging) trails through the pines, with bike hire available on site.
